I for one would like to continue/conclude both Devonshire and the mid level Jodshire quest at some point.
Due to Holiday issues, there will be no game on either 12/9 or 12/23.
I foresee no other cancelled days.
I know that most players have been enjoying the current gaming sessions with the Past Ring/future Tindale group.
Is anyone at all interested in finishing Devonshire? If so, when? My feeling is that the Tindale crew has become the main party, but if anyone has any desire to use those other characters, we need to finish.
There are ways to finish it without actually playing it out. I can, if anyone is interested, write the end of that campaign (perhaps even literally, as a story for the web) and put the characters safely back at Caer Falken. We could write the characters off, assuming they all failed and just kill them off. These are just some ideas.
Let me know what your opinions on the matter are.

I admit, my interest in the Devonshire quest is minimal and I don't want that to be seen as a slam on anyone player or DM because it is not intended to be. I'd be perfectly fine with us trying to write it out or some other means to end it. However, given a choice between just killing Jask off, or playing it out I'd go for the latter.
Well this seems to be the situation so far....
Gwylln prefers to play the plot to its conclusion (as noted above)
Jaskyn would rather get it over quickly and easily (see post above)
Merilin is interested in retiring that character as soon as everything is done, and would play it out if that's the way we go.
Lynliss cannot say when (or if) she will return.
Einkil is fairly certain he will return at some point, but cannot make any commitments.
Garrick feels he has only been a "guest" on this quest and has no desire to cast a vote in any way.
In the end, this tells me that the majority of the party, for various reasons, is neither interested in, nor motivated to complete, this quest, and has fallen in love with other characters. That's fine. However, there are metaplot issues also involved, and so I cannot keep this open ended indefinately.
Unless some terms can be agreed upon before then, I will have the plot resolved under DM control by Mid January at the latest (when I have a vacation week to tidy things up).
